BLACKMAN PARK

Public BBQ

Blackman Park offers an exceptional multi-layered recreational experience combining sports facilities, natural bushland, and community amenities. The park features quality synthetic and grass sports fields, basketball hoops, playgrounds, and a skate park, alongside an enclosed off-leash dog area that's become a local favorite. Bush walking trails wind through shady trees connecting to the river, requiring dogs to be leashed once leaving the designated area. A charming café provides coffee and snacks, while picnic areas with wooden BBQs cater to gatherings. Cricket nets, bike tracks, and running paths serve active visitors. Despite limited parking during busy periods, the park's diverse offerings make it worth arriving early or utilizing the 4-minute bush walk from street parking. Built on a former tip site, the transformation showcases successful land rehabilitation.
